The Beach & Lake Resort: A tranquil oasis

The Beach & Lake is a privately owned ayurvedic resort, eight kilometres south of Thiruvanathapuram International Airport. Offering therapeutic and rejuvenating ayurvedic programmes, this resort is nestled between the Arabian Sea and the Parvathi Puthanar rivers, situated on an island. The resort is spread across the stream on both the banks with rooms on both sides of the stream. It's a wonderful experience to take the country boat from one bank to the other.

On one side are the backwaters; bordered by a forest of coconut palms, a natural habitat for 31 odd species of migratory birds. The property is open throughout the year. October to April is the main tourist season.
