The Official Voice Of ETAA

ETAA to provide maximum exposure to members

Attempts to visit WTM as an association

Chetan Kapoor - Mumbai

Karl Dantas

President, ETAA

As other associations take up the cause of zero per cent commission, on behalf of its members, Enterprising Travel Agents Association (ETAA) comprising non-IATA agents is looking at giving its 125 members spread across Mumbai and Pune exposure to newer destinations and services.

In conversation with Express TravelWorld, Karl Dantas, president, ETAA said, "We are looking at taking the ETAA group to the World Travel Mart, London to motivate our members and provide them with exposure. Already, a few have registered and once we have enough numbers we will talk to WTM and see whether we, as retailers, can add value to the inbound and outbound products available there."

According to Dantas, this would be an interesting proposition for WTM as well, as they would have new agents attending the event. "Once we have a group and find out which destinations they are interested in selling, we will accordingly try to fix slots with the respective tourism boards to avail of presentations and fix the itinerary accordingly," he remarked.
