Kandamkulathy Vaidyashala Group announces a new venture, Ayursoukhyam Resorts
Kandamkulathy Vaidyashala Group, the 150-year-old traditional ayurvedic pioneers
with its presence in research, treatment and production, has come up with its
latest project in health tourism 'Ayursoukhyam Resorts' at Alwaye in Kerala.
The Rs five crore project is expected to be completed this year. The new project
intends business participation with stakeholders who will invest in the project.
The new venture will provide comprehensive treatments in ayurveda incorporated
with the traditional treatments devised by Kandamkulathy. Special treatment
packages for domestic and foreign tourists are also formulated in the wake of
fast growing health tourism sector. Kandamkulathy has already been into the
health tourism for the last decade. The group has well established 5 multi specialty
treatment centres.
Investments are invited, wherein stakeholders could enter into business participation
with the proposed project. Apart from owning the resorts, investors could claim
financial returns, as their spaces will be utilised for the health tourism business
scheduled by Kandamkulathy. The company claims it as unique and rewarding investment
opportunity in Kerala, which enjoys global fame and health tourism revenue through
top quality ayurvedic treatments and practices.
"Our treatment initiatives gained inviting responses from different corners.
Kerala's ayurvedic potential blended with tourism is attracting investment in
the sector. So the idea of the new venture inviting the participation of interested
parties came up. It is the first venture of its kind", said K P Wilson,
managing director, Kandamkulathy Group.
The resorts will cater to all the needs of travellers, both foreign and domestic,
to undergo an exciting treatment experience. Modern treatment facilities with
futuristic devices along with a yoga and meditation centre, herbal garden, jogging
tracks, swimming pool, indoor and outdoor games, open restaurant and gymnasium
are some of the features that will be available in the project. The treatment
group is led by a team of eminent doctors.
