Kingfisher to launch travel division by July

Division to be called Kingfisher Holidays

Given the rise in tourism in India, Kingfisher Airlines is all geared up to launch its travel division, Kingfisher Holidays. A Kingfisher Airlines source revealed, "We are working on Kingfisher Holidays which has been in the offing for a long time. It is expected to launch by around June-July this year."

The division will offer packages across all ranges and will focus on the domestic segment before venturing into international packages. "We will be mainly targeting the youth with adventure-based products amongst other things," the source added.

Kingfisher Airlines has actively participated in globally-recognised trade shows - the WTM in London and ITB Berlin. It has now joined the list of international carriers like Emirates, Qantas and Etihad that have their own travel division.
