With the advent of new products and services being launched in the market, Trail Blazers Tours India (TBI) is promoting Arctic and Antarctica cruises, African safaris and spa holidays, to name a few. Speaking to Express TravelWorld, Hutokshi Marker, COO, TBI said, "Travel today has evolved in the last few years and more people are travelling and investing in the same. Therefore, we have launched the Vacations for a Lifetime 2008 brochure to offer the above and many other exciting holiday packages to our customers." TBI would also be present at ITB Berlin, selling the above products.

In addition to holidays for the high-end FITs, the travel company continues to do significant MICE business. "Recently we sent groups from Hitachi, Berger Paints and more to Malaysia and Singapore," she mentioned.

TBI is also looking to add more shops - one more in Mumbai, one in Gujarat in two-three months, and more tier two and three cities will follow suit. The travel company has foreign offices in Canada, Korea, Japan and Australia and is looking at opening two to three more international offices by mid-2008, with China being a strong potential market.

Having completed one year of its operations in March 2008, TBI has also applied for a Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) and IATA memberships. "In this business, relationships count and being a non-IATA agent we have had excellent offers from Globus and Cosmos, Rail Europe, Qantas Holidays, Kuoni Holidays, Yatra.com, Taj Holidays, Star Cruises, on their inventory," remarked Marker.
