makeover and its partnership with Thomas Cook, Jayanta Roy, director, Kaizen
Leisure & Holidays said, "We are striving to explore new horizons in
the booming travel industry in India. The re-branding exercise of Peerless Travel
to Kaizen Leisure & Holidays is in line with our expansion drive."
He continued, "We aim to provide our customers world class 'One stop Leisure
and Holiday Services' with our wide range of travel and tour products. Our presence
in the hospitality sector gives us an added edge."
According to Roy, with this re-branding exercise, the main target will be the
corporate sector. He is hopeful that following this development, 85 per cent
of its business will come from corporate customers.
Armed with a wide network and strong infrastructure, Kaizen aims to be a customer-oriented
'Travel Boutique Shop' providing a wide range of travel and tour products. It
will offer a broad spectrum of leisure travel-related services including air
ticketing, tour organisation, passport and visa assistance, hotel booking, car
and coach rentals, package tours, dealer's incentive tours and HR programmes.
As the Thomas Cook Gold Circle Partner in Eastern India, Kaizen will impart
quality service to the discerning traveller with its entire range of Thomas
Cook products and services, including Thomas Cook 100% Holidays - the international
travel brand of Thomas Cook, Roy said. "We are currently focusing on our
travel-related services in the leisure market. With an increased growth in outbound
travel to Europe and South East Asian countries like Thailand, Singapore and
Malaysia, we expect a steep increase in outbound tourists from West Bengal,"
added Roy. "Following the tie-up, we expect 90 per cent of our business
to come from outbound traffic and the remaining 10 per cent from domestic traffic,"
Roy concluded.
