Creative Travels announces summer packages

Rajeev Kohli

Director of Marketing Creative Travel India

There is a lot of misconceptions as to why India cannot be visited during summer, which may not necessarily be true. Below are some reasons to visit India in the summer, courtesy Rajeev Kohli, Director of Marketing Creative Travel India

  • The best value possible - one can stay in some of the finest hotels in the world at prices that one would pay for a four-star hotel in the winter.
  • For wildlife lovers, late April and May is the best time of the year to see the famous Indian tiger. This elusive animal stays closer to the water during this time, and is thus most likely to be spotted
  • Particularly in the desert regions of Rajasthan, the peak heat is between 11:30 am and 4:30 pm, when one can relax and enjoy the hotel. Sightseeing is possible in relative comfort in the early mornings and evenings. The Indian summer is not hotter than other destinations that one would consider in the summer months like Dubai, Spain, and Miami
  • One can enjoy the monuments without the crowds - one has the luxury of visiting the monuments in the cities one visits, without having hundreds of tour buses present at the same time.
  • With lower occupancies in the summer, one can make the most of one's stay at the hotels. One can use the spa without having to book it in advance, step into the restaurants without a reservation and one can also have the pool to oneself.
