Tybros Tours enters resort management

Anupama Sushil - New Delhi

Tybros Tours with its existing extensive profile of serving the corporate, incentive and adventure tours has recently revealed its plan of venturing into ownership and management of resort properties in India. The tours company that sticks to its promise of delivering quality will own these resorts on long lease and manage them entirely. Speaking exclusively to Express TravelWorld, Vikas Tyagi, director, Tybros Tours said, "The USP is delivering quality service and by entering into this segment we would continue to do it." Revealing the plans on taking this segment further he said that beginning with resorts at Ranikhet and Almora in Uttakhand, Kufri in Himachal Pradesh and Goa the properties will be fully refurbished and renovated by them and will also be entirely managed by the group itself.

While the company is already into different segments, it will ensure that the similar quality standards are maintained here too, he added. Tyagi also added that taking on this new segment has also given them an idea to venture into coach rentals helping their groups to commute between their resorts or on itineraries ensuring similar service standards throughout their travel schedule. He stated that in the beginning the company did have a car rental division which did not yield many profits. But now when they are dealing mainly into incentive segments and catering to large groups this would surely be profitable. Taking a step further to make it a unique experience he said, "We would also consider introducing hostesses in bus to ensure that guests can be taken care of."

Tyagi was delighted at the new opportunity that they were to begin with as it would add another facility to their existing services. With this Tyagi also expressed his fear that the long tax payment queues at borders may create a hassle and was hugely dissatisfied with the present status and pleads for one-stop-shop for pre-payment of all the taxes, avoiding inconvenience to the travellers.
