Mercury Travels acquires Teztair Travels
Introduces new holiday packages

With an aim to enhance its share in corporate travel management, Mercury Travels,
an established end to end travel related services provider, has announced the
acquisition of Teztair Travels. Teztair Travels, a multifaceted travel company
with a strong focus on business travel management, was spearheaded by Pilloo
Vandrevala, who will be involved in the company's future, too, by contributing
to Mercury Travels business development initiatives.
"Through the acquisition of Teztair Travels, corporate travel volumes will
be consolidated resulting in improved efficiencies, lower operating costs and
enhanced revenues. It will benefit existing and future customers in this increasingly
competitive marketplace" says Ashwini Kakkar, executive vice-chairman,
Mercury Travels.
The company also plans to extend its leisure travel and foreign exchange services
to the acquired client base.
In addition, Mercury Travels also recently launched its Outbound Leisure Holidays
programme with flexible itineraries, for both business travellers and family
holidays.
Following the growing trend to holiday at new, unexplored destinations, Mercury
Travels has launched customised holiday programs to over 60 countries, from
Brazil and Chile to Australia and Tahiti, Kenya and Tanzania to the ever-popular
Greece and Spain.
For individual travellers, Mercury Travels is offering a wide array of holiday
options ranging from spa vacations, ecotours, luxury train trips, cruise vacations,
wildlife holidays, luxury lodge stays, adventure holidays, beach holidays, self
drive vacations and mountain holidays.
Mercury Travels has launched its Outbound Leisure Holidays programme with flexible
