Chetan Kapoor - Mumbai

Sushil Bhatt

Mumbai-based Forvol International Services, an associate company of the Forbes Group, is working closely with international insurance companies for inbound traffic opting for medical tourism. Says Sushil Bhatt, COO, Forvol International Services, "India is a booming medical tourism destination with a high level of expertise. Taking that into consideration, we are working closely with overseas insurance companies and social security authorities to facilitate smooth transit of patients into the country."

Forvol International has seven branches (one each in Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Cochin, Pune and two in Mumbai) and is also looking at expanding to Ahmedabad and Hyderabad. It is also focusing on technology. "Our programming development department in Pune will put together all the packages and all our offices would be integrated and synced from the front-end as well as the back-end with hotels and other partners working with us. With integration of technology, not only will we be able to service our customers better but also concentrate on investing in certain sections of business that have better long-term returns," added Bhatt.

Apart from medical t ourism, the company is concentrating on customised tours. "We want to concentrate on the up-market segment who want to try new destinations and ideas," concluded Bhatt.
