"It means a lot to have won the Galileo Express TravelWorld Award for the Best Domestic Full-Service Carrier. It is yet another recognition of the standards and quality achieved and set by Jet Airways.

We have won this award for the last four years in a row and this is our fifth one, and we are glad to have won it again. However, this time the most difficult part of it would be to find a place to keep it as the boardroom is too full with the number of Columbus' and other awards and recognitions given to us!

We have recently started to fly on international routes and will soon be extending our international operations furthermore in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia. Jet Airways will try to maintain its level of excellence and quality to be the most preferred airline, not only in this country but also international. I would like to thank Galileo and the Express group on behalf of all my colleagues for recognising what we have done.

At the same time we need to look into the issues troubling this industry. Problems are common to all as we operate in the same environment. There are infrastructural bottlenecks, no common user facility, prices of ATF is ever increasing which affects the cost structure the most - and the government must look into all these so as to attract more investments in this industry and most importantly assure returns.

We would be inducting around 20 aircraft of which 18 would be wide body deployed on international routes.
