"It is very humbling to have been judged the Best Eastbound Airline by Galileo Express TravelWorld Awards once again. All I can say is that this will inspire us to do much better and to push our product even further in the Indian market. We have been operating in India for over 35 years now, and with every passing year, we improvise and get better than what we were. Our passion is to provide quality in service and achieve the highest customer standards across our global network.

It is imperative to remember that customers appreciate both, good on-ground and on-air service. We have tried to be consistent in both and that is what customers have appreciated - the warmth of service, the comfort and personal interaction with clients. Of course, the airline's 'Singapore girls' have become our icon in this regard - they are synonymous with everything that speaks hospitality and service. Our customers can also avail of what they want off the shelf and our software service is perhaps what sets us apart from other operators.

We are very excited about our future in India. With the liberalisation and the phenomenal growth of aviation in the country, we have to set bigger and higher targets for ourselves. Moreover, since we have been around in the Indian market for 35 years, we have seen the aviation landscape develop over the last few years. It is imperative to become a part of this growth. It isn't only about taking Indian passengers to Singapore; it's about bringing more corporate and leisure travellers to India too. We want to remain consistent, and more than anything, retain the high standards we have set for ourselves and our customers.
