Bijoy Chatterjee, IAS has taken over as the additional chief secretary, department of tourism, Government of West Bengal

Ravi Narayan Nanda has been appointed as director, Orissa Tourism, Government of Orissa. Prior to this, he was working as additional district magistrate in Bhubaneshwar

Rama Rebbapragada has been appointed as managing director for Royal Caribbean Cruises for the Asia Pacific region. The regional headquarter is located in Singapore's central business district, which will support the marketing efforts in Asia Pacific for three of the company's cruise brands: Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Cruises

Star Cruises has announced the promotions of Naresh Rawal as director (sales & marketing), India. Based in Mumbai, Rawal will be responsible for overseeing Star Cruises' sales and marketing activities and operations in India. He has a proven track record of over 13 years in the hospitality industry, of which the last eight years have been in senior management positions Sumit Banerjee has been promoted to senior manager (sales & marketing). He will continue to oversee North and East India regions. In addition, he will be in charge of Nepal from New Delhi office. Banerjee has experience of 10 years in the cruise industry

C G Prasad has taken over as head (hotel product) at Cleartrip Travel Services. He is an IT consultant with more than 13 years of experience in hospitality Rajiv Narain has joined Jaypee Hotels as vice president (Operations) and will manage the 350-room Jaypee Palace Hotel & Convention Centre in Agra. Narain has had a long and distinguished career with Taj, spanning over 28 years
VisitBritain India
Ritushri Dhankher has been appointed as the new press and PR manager for VisitBritain India. She has been with VisitBritain in a similar capacity before and now joins back after a gap of four years. She will be responsible for all communication activities for the region including media, public relations, events and advertising initiatives Reem Khokhar is the new CRM and marketing manager for VisitBritain India. Prior to this, she worked with Rough Guides, a travel guide publishing company which is part of the Penguin group. Reem will be taking care of online as well as offline marketing and promotions for VisitBritain
Shivani Khera has joined Visit Britain as a marketing support executive having done her MBA from Thames Valley University in UK specialising in marketing. She has also worked in UK alongside her studies. As her first appointment in India at VisitBritain, she will get to use her personal experiences of staying in UK to promote the destination to the Indian market Reji Thomas Mathew has been appointed as representative - Bangalore for VisitBritain India. He has over 15 yrs of experience in the travel industry working in Dubai, Australia and then in India with Cox & Kings. In his new role, he will be responsible for marketing initiatives involved to enhance Britain as a destination in South India
