Jet Airways wins Most innovative product launch award

Airways has won travel business magazine - TravelBiz Monitor's 'Most Innovative
Product Launch Award' for its 'First Class' products on its long-haul flights.
The Award was given away at the grand closing ceremony of the TAFI (Travel Agents'
Federation of India) International Travel Convention 2007 Abacus-TAFI Awards
Nite on Saturday 8th September, 2007 at the Magella Sutera of the Sutera Harbour
Resort in Kota Kinabalu. Jet Airways has created the first airline 'suite' in
the sky offering its customers the ultimate experience in privacy and luxury.
Each First Class suite provides over 26 sq ft of usable space, features dual
sliding doors that create complete privacy for every passenger choosing to fly
Jet Airways First Class. It features the world's longest First Class bed at
83 inches, massive 23 inch flat screen monitors and carefully designed storage
areas that include a personal hanging wardrobe, dual credenza and under ottoman
stowage.
The Awards, presented by TravelBiz Monitor are based on extensive research that
recognise leaders of the industry who have set global international standards.
Sonu Kriplani-VP Passenger Sales, Jet Airways was present at the awards ceremony
and received the award on behalf of Jet Airways.
In addition, chairman, Jet Airways, Naresh Goyal was awarded the prestigious
TATA AIG - Lifetime Achievement Award at the grand closing ceremony at the convention.
Chairman Naresh Goyal was nominated for the award for being a "true trendsetter",
"an achiever" and "someone who has made significant contributions
to the Travel and Tourism industry in India."
