GoAir to take delivery of its first A320

EAW Staff - Mumbai

Wadia Group-owned, GoAir recently confirmed delivery of its first of 20 ordered A320s worth US$ 1.2 billion, in end-September. They also plan to enter the capital market through an IPO in 2009.

Meanwhile, GoAir also revealed its plans to launch services to Kolkata by mid-2008. The carrier currently operates 60 daily services, with aims to increase services to 90. GoAir currently operates in Srinagar, Jammu, Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Goa, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kochi.
