Lagoa Azul: Panoramic view

Nestled close to the blue waters of a lagoon, near Baga River, 'Lagoa Azul' promises an idyllic holiday away from the bustle of crowded resorts. Set in a peaceful and serene location, in little Baga, Arpora. The resort, owned by Riviera Constructions, is in close proximity to the famous beaches of Calangute, Baga, and Anjuna which offer a good variety of shops, restaurants, bars and an array of water sports and also bungee jumping. The resort is located 42 kms from the airport and 14 kms from the railway station.

Agnelo M Braganca, director says, "We have more suites at reasonable prices. The rooms are a blend of old traditional designs with modern amenities."

The resort has 80 well appointed air conditioned standard and suite rooms (most of them pool facing), offering a stunning panoramic view of picturesque landscape consisting of gently swaying palms and paddy fields. All rooms have balconies and are equipped with satellite TV, refrigerator with mini bar, telephone and hot/cold water.

Tabla Restaurant

Tabla, which is the name of an ancient Indian one piece drum, set up overlooking the Baga River and the Lagoon, offers you an extensive menu, to whet your appetite with some delicious local specialities, Indian favourites and western cuisine served both, in a la carte and buffet style. In the evenings, you can choose between steaks and seafood delight.

Sun Bar

Spend your days completely unwinding by the pool and catch the scenic view of the lake and the lagoon. While sipping your favourite cocktail or regional all time favourite, you can take in the sun and experience the cool tropical breeze.

Traditional Theme Nights

Traditional Theme Nights with live bands and cultural entertainment are organised every week. The food is set up in buffet style and you can try some favourite local specialities such as pork vindaloo, Goan sausages, Xacuti chicken and seafood.
