Resorte Marina Dourada: Go(a) green

Resorte Marina Douarda, a three star resort, is located in village Arpora (North Goa) amidst serene surroundings. The resort overlooks two lakes with the Baga river flowing nearby, besides the Baga hillock with its dense canopy, salt pans and rice fields on each side. One can experience nature in all its vivacity and vitality.

Edwin Dais, general manager says, "Goa has a greener environment compared to most places in the country. The people here are full of life and very tourist friendly. Resorte Marina Dourada offers friendly service within the expanse of a good environment. We present varied cuisine and have entertainment for children of all ages. There is boating, fishing, karaoke, playstation, indoor games and also a food station."

All the resort’s 206 rooms are overlooking the swimming pool. The thick vegetation around the place is also a paradise for the birdwatchers.

Three restaurants cater to the food and the beverage needs of the guests - Varanda, the multicuisine restaurants by the pool side; Agor, the poolside bar and Baracuda, another bar located between the lakes. Varied live entertainment can be enjoyed at the poolside. Dais says, "We portray Indian culture through our entertainment. We try to educate the guests on Indian culture by skits, dance and music."
