The Beach Goa: Contemporary design

The Beach Goa is a five star leisure property with 123 rooms situated on the white sandy shores of Benaulim in South Goa. Lapped by the Arabian Sea, the hotel has 4 majestic row houses and 13 enchanting villas surrounded by lush, blossoming, landscaped gardens and bodies of water. The resort architecture is a mix of Portuguese and contemporary design offering maximum comfort and ease.

The resort is located 27 kms from the airport and 8 kms from the nearest railway station. As the guest enters the gates, he notices the obvious Portuguese architecture, huge wooden pillars in the restaurant and lots of open space. Captain Gireesh Kumar, resident manager, The Beach Goa, says, "Goa is about the Portuguese culture and we want to highlight it. During monsoon, Goa is cool and one can really enjoy the rain. We have independent villas with direct access to the beach."

The Beach Goa offers special packages during the monsoon. Kumar says, "We will be introducing the concept of including the spa in the room package. We will also be organising live skits, live band, cultural programmes and, to break the monotony, live belly dancing."

The spa provides the host of facilities which includes yoga, Thai massage and Kerala ayurvedic massage. The resort also has the concept of plunge pool (a small swimming pool provided in few of the rooms).
