Grandeur Holidays opens new office near Kochi Airport

It is not surprising. Grandeur Holidays in Kerala have journeyed with tourists last so many years. Yet they are ever on the move. Striving to live up to their own impossible standards. Trying to surprise you with more than just a holiday in Kerala, making it unforgettable. No wonder hundreds of globetrotters choose to travel only with them in Kerala. "Our tour captures that quintessential magic of Kerala like no one else can. Its archaeological splendour, lush vegetation, tranquil beaches, stunning mountains, hill stations, wildlife and bird sanctuary, forts and palaces, ayurvedic centres, pilgrim centres, and festivals and the lush green backwaters", says Ojus Sebastian, managing director, Grandeur Holidays.

Grandeur Holidays has started a new office near the Kochi International Airport. "The inflow of domestic tourists into Kerala has increased by air due to the emergence of budget airlines, hence an office near the airport will help us to cater to the needs of tourists in a better way. Also we are local handlers in Kerala for some operators from the west and north and this office at the Kochi airport will help us to serve them better", he added.

Two of the tour operator's specialities are the houseboats and the tree houses. It has its own houseboats ranging from a single bedroom to 6 bedrooms. Houseboat cruises on the backwaters of Kerala are one of the most wonderful and unforgettable experiences one can have during your stay here. Tree houses also known as Erumadom (in Malayalam) are houses built on treetops. The raw materials that are used for constructing these houses are all eco-friendly materials, such as coir mats, bamboo poles, straws, live trees (as pillar), etc. Tribals in forests of Kerala earlier used tree houses. Sit-out of these tree houses will give a tranquil view of the jungle and its surrounding.

A tree house is the ideal place to stay if you want to experience a nature friendly vacation on Kerala tours. All the basic facilities like bedroom, attached bathroom with flushing toilet, telephone shower, washbasins etc are provided in these tree houses. They are built 20 to 80 feet above the ground level. A separate walk way is provided for entering these tree houses. "Kerala has got a vast area of jungle in Munnar where tree house stay is becoming popular. Tree houses offer a refreshing getaway from city life and provides a unique venue, surrounded by natural beauty, to spend a holiday in Kerala", Sebastian said.
