Nattika Beach: The hidden treasures of Malabar Coast

Kadappuram Beach resort, Nattika Beach is the place to experience the love of nature. The resort, built in traditional architecture using locally available natural materials, is a village with its own characteristics.

Walls using traditional mats and 'Ramacham' roots sandwiched in layers, blends ayurveda in architecture. Lakeside restaurant serves a variety of organic Kerala kitchen delicacies. Stroll the beach with mesmerising fantasies, reminding you of nature, the surroundings are gifted with backwaters surrounded by palm grooves; relax in the beach huts or unwind in the hammocks.

Malabar coast is mystical. Nattika Beach is located near the ancient gateway of India, Kodungalloor. It is believed that St Thomas, an apostle of Jesus Christ had landed here.

The oldest mosque in India - Cheraman Masjid, built before a millennium ago is also situated here. Guruvayoor, the temple town of Kerala, Palayoor Church and Thrissur, the cultural capital of Kerala are at close proximity.

Some of the activities at the resort include, witnessing the cultural extravaganza of Kerala like Kathakali, Theyyam, Kalaripayattu, Maappila Pattu, Mohiniattom, Fold Dance etc, boat ride or an elephant ride, enhancing your knowledge of culture and history, visiting Punnathur elephant camp along with the ancient temples and monuments, shopping for the beautiful and useful items produced by the cottage industries or watching the Athirappilly-Vazhachal water falls and exotic beauty of the mountains.
