Aman Worldwide launches online hotel booking

ETW Staff - New Delhi

Deepak Narula
MD, Aman Group

Delhi-based Aman Worldwide recently launched an online booking portal www.globalresnetwork.com

According to Deepak Narula, MD of Aman Group, the initial inventory will be close to 30,000-odd hotels with plans of increasing it to over 75,000. Most of these hotels will have online availability. "The objective of launching this portal is to take effective measures so as to simplify the hotel booking procedure for agents along with ensuring higher earning potential in the form of guaranteed higher commissions. In fact it is an extension of our existing business of hotel booking through various consolidators," Narula said.

As an added advantage, the site will enable agents to issue confirmation vouchers for hotels, transfers and other sightseeing tours in their company's name. Apart from these benefits, the site will also have the rate advantage over other sites as the best rates comes directly from the principal source of multiple consolidators along with the receptive inbound operator, who have current deep discounted arrangements with hotels.

Aman Worldwide had earlier introduced other products including a domestic hotel booking site (www.reserplus.com) and a commission processing programme by Pegasus Solutions.
