Travel House Express to Agra

International Travel House has launched Travel House Express, Delhi to Agra, in a Volvo. The coach leaves Delhi at 6.30 am and reaches Agra by 11 am either from Maurya Sheraton or from Park Royal. A buffet lunch at Mughal Sheraton Hotel is part of the package. Post-lunch, travellers are taken for a tour in and around the city. The tariff per person is Rs 2,600. Entry fees and taxes are extra. Indian special in Gold Coast itinerary

Warner Village Theme Parks is promoting its Australian Outback Spectacular, a show (with duration of 1.5 hours) that has been running for the past two months. It has introduced Indian Parcel as an option to the menu designed to suit both Jain and vegetarian Indians. You must have 20+ in a booking to order it. Remember to add the Australian Outback Spectacular as an option with each Gold Coast itinerary. Show operates every night except Monday. It will commence Sunday night shows from June 11, 2006. New travel search engine

Mobissimo, a comprehensive travel search engine, has launched its Indian site www.mobissimo.com, which provides consumers with comprehensive selection of the latest travel deals from India-specific online travel agencies, air carriers, low-cost airlines, car rentals and hotels. It is the first travel search engine to specifically target India.


Airline ticket fares on Galileo system

Galileo International will now guarantee airline ticket fares on its system including the airline surcharges - YQ/YR taxes. It has updated its Fare Guarantee Policy to include YQ/YR taxes after implementing a new automated service fee solution in accordance with the Airline Tariff Publishing Company's (ATPCo) new industry standards. With this, Galileo customers will benefit from timely and accurate application of airline fares and taxes. The new process allows airlines to code their service fee structure directly with ATPCo.


Air Arabia launches Sharjah-Jaipur route

Air Arabia has added Jaipur as its fourth destination in India, with daily flights effective May 12, 2006. The flights departing from Jaipur at 04:05 am will arrive in Sharjah at 05:45 pm. Flights from Sharjah will depart at 22:55 am, and arrive in Jaipur at 03:20 pm. Fares start from Rs 3,099 for a one way trip, exclusive of taxes and surcharges.


Turkish Airlines increases service to Mumbai

Turkish Airlines, which announced the launch of operations in Mumbai, is offering an introductory fare of Rs 12,000 for a return trip from Mumbai to Istanbul. The flight will operate from Mumbai on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and from Delhi on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. It will operate on Airbus A313 with a total of 1,470 seats per week. The fares do not include taxes and surcharges.


Etihad introduces A330-200

Etihad Airways has introduced its new A330-200 on the Mumbai-Abu Dhabi sector that will offer innovative seating and high-speed wireless internet access on four flights from Mumbai. The A330-200, purpose built to Etihad specifications, will incorporate 262 seats in a twin-aisle configuration across two Guest Zones, with 22 seats in the Pearl Zone and 240 seats in the Coral Zone.


Travel portal Xplorz offers real time bookings

A travel portal, www.Xplorz.com has been launched for real time flight, hotel and car booking access. The portal claims to provide Indian travellers with instant access to best flight deals, in India and abroad.

Vikram Ramchand, chief executive officer said, "Xplorz.com has the best in technology. The company will be the only online e-ticket provider in India whereby a customer can use the P3 method of booking - Pick, Pay and Print. This would enable all customers to print their own e-ticket online and fly within two hours of booking where the airline company provides e-ticketing service." Using the Galileo GDS system, Xplorz, wholly owned subsidiary of the Ramchand group of companies, has formed an alliance with Hotels.com for room requirements and has partnered with ITQ - Interglobe Technology Quotient.


Overseas Holidays with a difference

International Travel House has launched a variety of river cruises in Europe and in China. The river cruises holidays range from 8 to 25 days. The eight-day itinerary for instance covers "Romantic Rhine" and the river ports you sail through are Basel-Strasbourg-Speyer-Herdelbourg-Mainz-Rudesheim-Coblenz-Clogne and Amsterdam covering Switzerland, Germany. It is priced at US $1,799. Another tour is the Grand Black Sea Cruise. The nineteen-day tour, which costs US $4,499, takes you from Prague to Nuremberg on to Regersburg-Passau-Linz-Vieenna-Brundpost-Novle-Sad-Belgrade-IronGates-Svistov-Veliko-Arbharic-Rousse-Black Sea Canal-Constantia and Oltentia.
