Countdown Begins To The 2005 Galileo-Express Travel & Tourism Awards

TATA AIG Lifetime Achievement Award To Be Introduced This Year

With the nominations forms having been sent out to the nominees in the respective award categories, the excitement to the Galileo-Express Travel & Tourism is building up. Nominated companies have already started sending in their completed forms and preliminary indications reveal that the awards will be even more closely contested this year. Polling for these awards have also commenced amongst the IATA-accredited travel agents and tour operators across the country.

The highlight of this year's awards is the newly instituted TATA AIG Lifetime Achievement Award. This is an individual award and will be awarded to that industry professional who has made the most significant contribution to the Indian travel and tourism industry over the years.

Mark out December 7, 2005 in your diary as the head honchos of the entire industry will converge in Mumbai to witness the third edition of the Galileo-Express Travel & Tourism Awards. From all across India, 155 companies - the best of travel, tourism and hospitality in India - will compete for these coveted industry awards.
