Garners Support From Indian States And NTOs
Following
its unprecedented success in 2005, TravelWorld 2006 is already garnering stupendous
support from international buyers, Indian and international exhibitors. Almost
four months away and the exhibition already boasts of participation from most
of the leading state tourism boards and a wide variety of international participants.
TravelWorld 2006 which will unfold at the Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai from
February 2nd to 5th, 2006 has also gathered support from the private sector,
both within the country and outside. Some of the highlights include hosting
200 local buyers from over 20 states, including 50 from Mumbai alone, and offering
international sellers a unique chance to meet leading travel business heads
from India under one roof.
TravelWorld 2006 promises four days of buyer-seller interaction across various
levels of the industry. The International Hosted Buyer Programme, a unique networking
opportunity, will give Indian sellers an immediate competitive advantage by
providing them an interface with 250-plus buyers from across the world. Additionally,
the event will also give exhibitors an opportunity to interact with more than
3,000 walk-in travel trade visitors over four days of the show. Some of the
distinct features of TravelWorld 2006 include three-hour focussed seminar programmes
on each of its four days and separate domestic, international and medical tourism
pavilions.
