TravelWorld 2006
Set To Overwhelm Mumbai Again
Following the unprecedented success of India's first-ever
Business-to-Business (B2B) travel trade show, The Indian Express Business Publications
Division is already busy organising TravelWorld 2006, that will unfold at the
Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai from February 2 to 5, 2006.
All leading international and state tourism boards have also shown keen interest
in participating in the event, which has already reported registration from
international tourism boards. Some of the highlights include hosting 200 buyers
from 28 states including 50 from Mumbai alone, and offering international sellers
a unique chance to meet leading travel businessmen from India under one roof.
TravelWorld 2006 promises four days of buyer-seller interaction across various
levels in the industry. The Hosted Buyer Programme, a unique networking opportunity,
will give sellers an immediate competitive advantage by providing them an interface
with 200-plus buyers from across the world. Additionally, the event will also
give exhibitors an opportunity to interact with more than 3,000 trade visitors
over four days. Some of the distinct features of TravelWorld 2006 include two
hours of conferences on each of its four days and separate domestic international
and medical tourism pavilions.
It was decided to re-host the trade show after getting positive
feedback from last year's event. Some of the prominent Indian and international
trade professionals were extremely impressed by TravelWorld 2005 and gave us
an overwhelming response. Travel World is well-attended by relevant industry
professionals both from India and abroad and is an ideal opportunity to catch
up with existing clients, make new contacts, generate leads and initiate B2B
networking. The event is also a good opportunity to raise awareness about your
company as a key player in the industry. TravelWorld is supported by the ministry
of tourism and other travel trade associations like TAAI, IATO, TAFI, ADTOI,
ETAA and PATA.
