Skytrax Ranks Austrian Airline Among The Best

In the latest survey by British consultant Skytrax, Austrian Airline's both Economy and Business Class earned outstanding scores in the long-haul category. Vagn Soerensen, CEO of Austrian Airlines, said, "Apart from earning the best Economy and Business Class, the airline has also won second place for Austrian Cabin Staff in the European section."

Again, for long-haul services, Austrian Economy Class catering took a second place, making Austrian the only European airline to feature amongst the top six. In Business Class, the airline occupied the fourth place in the Catering section. Catering for both classes is provided by Austrian company Airest.

The Austrian Airlines Group carries passengers to 130 destinations in 66 countries on five continents. The study conducted with over twelve million air passengers from 94 countries assessed the services provided by approximately 200 airlines around the world.
