New CD-ROM Guide On Dubai

Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing has launched an interactive CD-ROM guide on Dubai to attract more visitors and create awareness. The comprehensive guide, titled 'Discover Dubai' is in English and includes the award-winning 12-minute DVD film, 'Dubai Welcome to 21st Century Arabia'.

Using interactive technology and video content, the guide covers every aspect of Dubai: its weather, accommodation, things to do, transport, shopping, business, history and evolution of Dubai, restaurants and events.

The guide does not need an Internet connection or a high computer operating system. About 40,000 copies of the CD-ROM guide will be distributed free of cost through the DTCM's network of 14 Overseas Representative offices, travel trade exhibitions and road shows.
