Abacus MaximiseRev: Travel Agents’ Solution Provider

Abacus MaximiseRev is designed to help travel agents maximise revenue through securing bookings that generate the highest yields. The premium connectivity options and other valuable add-ons, enable users to better manage their inventory and yield, thereby result in increased revenue.

The connectivity levels helps deliver air products to a world of potential customers either by participating in the basic level of Full Availability or by upgrading to a higher level of premium connectivity. There are five participation levels. While the Interactive Seat Map Display (IMAP) enables to address the seat requests of travel agents either with instant confirmation or by providing alternative solutions. While the Interactive Pre-Reserved Seats (IPRS) allows instant confirmation for seat requests by travel agents, the Journey Data displays the segments booked in the passenger itinerary.

The other features like the Married Segment or Direct Connect Segment Revenue Management gives one the flexibility to extend the inventory control to the connecting segments built into Abacus. The PNR Synchronisation allows travel agents to obtain a passenger's complete itinerary and data in addition to the normal teletype booking information. This gives one a complete picture of the itinerary for better passenger services.

Further to better manage one's inventory and improve yield management, it is vital to possess updated POS information which one can easily access when participated in Abacus.

In addition to POS, the Expanded Point of Sale (EPOS) offers additional data like Frequent Traveller Number and Corporate Identification which help you make informed decisions on inventory to display.

And finally, the manual and time-consuming process of nett fares management is a thing of the past when one uses FareX. Using the Internet as its global communication backbone allowing users to access anytime, anywhere, FareX gives both airlines and travel agents greater convenience in distributing and retrieving fares information.
