Reema Sisodia - Mumbai

Veena Patil

Kesari Tours as part of its 20 -years celebration plans, has spread its wings in other parts of the country. Apart from having PSAs in various parts of Maharashtra and a full-fledged office in Pune, the company has recently started its own office in Bangalore, while Ahmedabad will commence opeartions on March 10, 2005. Hyderabad would follow by July 2005.

Apart from its India expansion plans, the company also plans to go global by the end of 2005. Plans are underway to start an office in London by November 2005.

Commenting on the new developments Veena Patil, director, Kesari Tours, mentioned, "With an increasing demand for tours, setting up an office in these areas definitely helps us liaison and serve our clients better. All our offices would be in the nature of sales offices."

When asked about their plans with regards to the northern market, Patil further added, "We are expanding slowly and steadily. We are not yet looking at the north in the immediate future. In the north, especially New Delhi, the market is not yet ready for group tours, which is something we strongly promote and sell. However we are open to new regions and plan to take one step at a time."

The company also plans to sell their new couple package called `Rangeela Rajasthan' in the coming months. As part of their 20-year celebration for the Art & Culture Foundation, the company is also scheduled to host a programme in March 2005 both in Mumbai and Bangalore.
