InterGlobe Undertakes Senior Management Restructuring

InterGlobe Enterprises, a diversified international corporation in the areas of air transport management, travel related services, hospitality, travel distribution and information technology, has recently undertaken top-level management restructuring.

As a part of the management restructuring Raja Natesan, who was previously the vice president, sales and marketing, InterGlobe Technologies, will now take on a expanded role as president and CEO of Galileo India and the travel technology business of InterGlobe Enterprises in India.

Speaking on these recent developments, Rahul Bhatia, managing director, InterGlobe Enterprises said, "The travel industry in India is buoyant and is experiencing aggressive growth. Along with this also come the challenges of an ever-changing and dynamic environment. This move at InterGlobe Enterprises, is to strengthen our strategic ability to achieve the ambitious targets we have set for ourselves to proactively address these challenges and realise our endeavour, to always provide a strong value proposition to our customers."

With this in mind, Seema Luthra, who was the president and CEO of Galileo India, has been promoted to vice president, strategy and chief marketing officer for InterGlobe Enterprises.

Vipul Doshi, COO of InterGlobe Technologies, would have the mandate to carry forward the technology division of the group for all international markets. These changes in management roles will be in effect from January 1, 2005.
