MoU Between ASSOCHAM, IATO And Egypt To Promote Tourism
Egyptian tourism has created a stir even before it could actively start promoting tourism in India. A huge delegation of various stakeholders in tourism from Egypt comprising of government officials, tour operators, travel agents, hoteliers and tourism associations was in India to promote tourist traffic to the country.

Adventure Tourism: Too Many Loose Ends
Suddenly, adventure tourism has become the buzzword in the travel industry. Every state tourism board is busy identifying products to promote this niche segment. It is not only the Himalayan states that are targeting adventure sports, but even a state like Delhi has appointed an official to develop adventure sports as an added attraction to its offering of history, culture and architecture.

Enforce Responsible And Sustainable Domestic Tourism: ADTOI
The recently concluded seventh Annual General Meeting of the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI), not only witnessed a gala evening but also serious deliberations on germane issues. Renuka Chowdhury, minister of state for tourism, was the chief guest on the occasion.

TAFI (TN) Chapter's First Committee Meeting Gains Support From STB
Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI), Tamil Nadu chapter and Singapore Tourism Board (STB) jointly organised the first committee meeting of TAFI in Chennai on November 3, 2004.
