‘Newer Destinations & Holidays Is On Offer’

Our aim is to retain the outbound traveller who can be easily to converted to the domestic traveller says Ajay Seth, general manager, ‘Bharat Dekho’ Cox & Kings ( I) Pvt Ltd (winner of the ‘Best Domestic Tour Operator’). Excerpts from an interview with Reema Sisodia

What does the award mean to you?

The award is a recognisation of the hard-work and commitment of the entire ‘Bharat Dekho’ team. Though, we have received complete support from our group, getting an award of this stature in the presence of the trade is highly encouraging.

What would you consider as the secret of your success?

I can attribute this success to two aspects one, being shear hard work and the other being the frontline staff of the Bharat Dekho team. The people who sell the product are important. Value for money deals, special passenger care and the right information dissemination does a long way in building your brand. Word of mouth and the ultimate satisfaction of the customer is in reality the secret of our success.

How are you planning to retain this success?

Quality service is the bottom-line, coupled with effective sales and marketing, which is an important wing. Training is also an essential aspect in the department are it helps people to upgrade their knowledge and skills on the product.

What are your future plans?

Newer destinations, newer kind of holidays are what we are looking to work on in the future. It is important to retain the domestic traveller who today is moving out for a holiday.
