The Irish Attraction
A select group of Indian tour operators and the only media Express Travel &
Tourism were treated to Irish hospitality with a four-day familiarisation trip
conducted by Tourism Ireland. Agents were treated to a scenic tour of Connemara,
a visit to Ballynahinch castle with an interesting India connection. The Connemara
golf club was next followed by some golfing lessons, which continued with the
scenic tour of Connemara and the final treat at the Malt House Restaurant in
Galway. The next day saw agents visit Dublin and check out the Glasson Golf
and Country Club followed by the Dublin tour. Last but certainly not the least,
the final day was the grand treat with a visit to the Guinness brewery and the
much-acclaimed Trinity college in Dublin. With the tour well in place, agents
definitely had a gala time with landscapes galore
