STB Launches Their 'Uniquely Empowering' Education Road Show In Four Cities

In an effort to tap the burgeoning Indian education market, Singapore Tourism Board (STB) launched their 'Uniquely Empowering' educational opportunities for graduate and post graduate students across four cities in India. The STB roadshow covered cities like Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi. The event showcased the fact that with 6,000 multinational companies based in Singapore and a dynamic research environment, opportunities of learning are an integral part of the Singapore Education model. The education is affordable in the form of faculties, international joint degrees, tie ups and a conducive study environment are available in Singapore.

Said Edward Chew, area director, West India, STB, "Education will be a key growth sector for us especially since the response from this market has been very good post our August 2003, Education Brand Launch. We will be concentrating on long-term studies, executive education, school enrichment and exchange programmes."

This is the second roadshow that STB is organising this year to capture the growing education market in India. Come November, the Board will again be back with their world MBA tour, proving that India is an important market besides Indonesia and Malaysia.

The road show will see participation of some of the top schools and universities of Singapore like the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS), Asia Pacific Management Institute, At-sunrice cooking academcy and many more.
