KAT Conducts Second Award Ceremony

The second “Certificate Awarding Ceremony” for Kuoni Academy of Travel (KAT), was held on July 20, 2004, at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The chief guest at the ceremony Jean-Louis Calmettes, general manager-South Asia, Air France presented the certificates to 75 students who completed the six months “Kuoni Airline Diploma” programme

Welcoming Calmettes and others, Vijay Chadda, member secretary, Board of Governors, Kuoni Academy of Travel and COO, BTI Sita said, “Our students are the future leaders of this industry and they should make India and the Academy proud”. While giving his address, Calmettes emphasised on the importance of such travel related courses in a country like India that is fast emerging as a key player in the travel and tourism Industry. Kamal Hingorani, vice president & head, Kuoni Academy of Travel, further mentioned, “Our programmes are designed for students to gain a broad understanding of travel agency as well as airline operations.”
