‘Travel Technology Pavilion’ Now At TravelWorld 2005

In addition to the diverse pavilions at TravelWorld 2005, Express Travel & Tourism brings to all its participants and visitors a first of its kind pavilion - ‘Travel Technology Pavilion’. This pavilion will feature technology providers from both domestic and international companies specialising in travel technology products such as GDS companies and aviation service providers all of whom will showcase their innovations.

Booking engines, travel websites, auction portals and payment gateways for hotel and travel related services will be on display for the first time in an Indian travel mart.

A cutting-edge conference programme on the evolution of technology in travel will highlight the importance of this segment in the travel industry. These innovative companies will draw audiences from aviation companies, tour operators, travel agencies, CTOs of Hotel companies and other technology buyers.

In keeping with the objective of bringing innovation to the Indian travel trade, TravelWorld and Express Travel & Tourism are also exploring with INTACH, a `Heritage and Culture Tourism Pavilion’. INTACH stands for the Indian National Trust for Art and Culture Heritage a nationwide organisation that protects and conserves India’s national and cultural heritage. This pavilion aims to highlight to all its visitors the historical interpretations of the nation’s natural and cultural assets, the conservation of our cultural and heritage sites and the vast contributions of heritage and culture to the tourism industry.

There is a lot more in store for both our participants and delagates alike. Express Travel & Tourism is also in talks with the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) for support, which would add the necessary global touch.
