DTWM To Promote London West End Shows In India

Charmaine Fernz - Mumbai

Ravi Pikle

For all theatre enthusiasts planning a holiday to the UK and who just cannot wait to catch a glimpse of the London West End Theatre District shows, the search ends right here. In an effort to enhance customer satisfaction, Discover The World Marketing-India (DTWM) has now tied up with the London West End Theatre District to the market the 20 shows in India. This is being done in conjunction with travel agents and tour operators alike.

Explains Ravi Pikle, managing director, Discover The World Marketing - India, "We have noticed that the FIT (Free Individual Traveller) market is maturing and is also getting away from the monotonous shopping routine. There is a lot of demand for these shows and this demand is picking up. In that regard, we have specialised rates for the Indian market, wherein travellers prior to their holiday can book the tickets from us in India. These special rates have been devised to build up this market. Payments can be made in rupees via credit cards, cash or even cheque and procure a confirmed ticket. Alternatively, one can even procure a ticket directly through a travel agent."

Adding further Pikle said, "We have conducted a research on the rates of these shows and the feedback received is that the net rates offered in India are competitive. The group rates offered are even more lower-priced. However, once purchased, the tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Nonetheless, if one wants a better price, the lowest rates are for weekdays but that is currently not purchasable in India."
