ITFT-Chandigarh Honours Chugh With Corporate Award

Praveen Chugh, managing director, TSI-Travel Services International and former president Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) - Northern Region was honoured with a Corporate Award “Man of the Year” for his meritorious services in generating enormous job opportunities for the youth from the north-east and northern India through ITFT- Chandigarh (Institute of Tourism & Future Management Trends) at the recently held JobsFest at Chandigarh.

The award was presented to him by Ashwani Sekhri, honourable minister for tourism, employment and labour- Punjab, at a ceremony announcing the 10th anniversary celebrations of the ITFT- Chandigarh. Highlighting the outstanding contribution of Praveen Chugh to the development of both domestic and international tourism, ITFT’s executive director, Gulshan Sharma said, “Chugh has always been keen to help find suitable career avenues for the educated unemployed youth of the country.”

Speaking on the occasion, Praveen Chugh, said, “Chandigarh could come up as an ideal destination for holding business conferences and conventions. JobsFest would also give a fillip to promoting the event industry in Chandigarh.”
