Thomas Cook Bags Galileo Cricket Max 2004 Cup

Thomas Cook recently lifted the prestigious Galileo Cricket Max 2004 trophy after defeating the other finalist-team from India International. The tournament was organised by Galileo India in association with Kuwait Airways, India One and US Airways.

Among other titles won were the 'Man of the Series', which went to K D Singh of Thomas Cook. The 'Man of the Match' title went to Vijay Sharma of Thomas Cook team, while the 'Best Bowler' went to Kalyan of Thomas Cook. The 'Best Fielder' award was given to Piyush of Aman Travels and 'Best Batsman' award went to Praveen Sharma of India International.

Sartaj of Galileo India won the award for 'Most number of 6's' and Preetam Chaudhuri of India International was declared 'Player of the Tournament' apart from winning the 'Most number of 4's'. The award for 'Best all-rounder' went to Idris Abbasi of Thomas Cook. A total of 32 teams participated in the tournament both from the airline and travel industry with names like Star Alliance, Lufthansa, Air Canada, Jet Airways, Thomas Cook and Air Sahara etc.
