Tirun Travel Marketing Awarded For Outstanding Sales In 2003

Tirun Travel Marketing, the India Representative for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd has been awarded the 'Outstanding Sales Award 2003' for their contribution in the calendar year 2003. The award was given away at a recently concluded Conference of International Representatives, held in Miami in March 2004, attended by more than 40 countries outside of the USA and Canada.

Giving away the award Adam Goldstein, executive vice-president, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. acknowledged the commitment and contribution made by Tirun Travel Marketing in one of the most difficult years for the travel industry worldwide. He said, "We are delighted with the Tirun team in India for having achieved a sales growth of 32 percent in a year when the travel industry across the globe was going through a challenging phase owing to the Iraq conflict and subsequently the SARS scare".

Receiving the award Gautam Chadha, chief executive, Tirun Travel Marketing said, "It is an honour for us to receive this prestigious award. We are delighted that our hard work has reaped appropriate results, which has led to this recognition. This achievement has largely been made possible due to the support of the travel agency fraternity throughout India who have supported and shown trust in our services."
