Great India Tour Company Bags ‘Best Tour Operator’ Award

Great India Tour Company (GITC), a destination management company in South India and the leisure arm of ATE Group of Companies once again bagged the 'Best Tour Operator' award for the year 2002-03, instituted by the department of tourism, Kerala.

The award was received by E M Najeeb, chairman, GITC from professor K V Thomas, the ex-minister for tourism and fisheries at a function held in Trivandrum. This is the second consecutive year that GITC has been chosen for this award. Great India Tour Company specialises in promoting South India, especially Kerala as an exotic destination. GITC was also awarded by FICCI for 'Excellence in Marketing Innovation Poster/Brochure', at the International Tourism Marketing Conference on 'South India - A Global Destination', organised in Chennai.
