Australian Tourist Commission

San Chan has been promoted to the position of consumer marketing director, Asia. Prior to this promotion, Chan was the consumer marketing manager, Asia at the ATC. As marketing director Chan has overall responsibility for the strategic direction of the ATC's marketing programme in Asia and in driving 'Brand Australia' across the region.

Malaysia Airlines

Sonia Dutt has been appointed marketing manager - South Asia. Prior to the appointment, Dutt was working as sales manager for Air Canada and brings along a 10 years of work experience with Star Alliance carriers namely Air Canada and Singapore Airlines.

Louise Hodges has been appointed PR Manager Asia. In this role, Hodges is responsible for driving the PR strategy for both consumer PR and public affairs for the ATC in Asia. Based in Hong Kong Hodges will drive a team of PR managers in markets across Asia and will be responsible for integrating public relations into the ATC's overall marketing programmes in the region.

Shalini Arora has been promoted to HR and administration manager - South Asia. Prior to the promotion, Arora was the administration manager/co-ordinator to the regional manager - South Asia.

Viceroy Hotel & Convention Centre, Hyderabad

Ravi Krishnan has been appointed general manager. Prior to the appointment, Krishnan has worked with ITC properties like ITC Kakatiya Sheraton, Hyderabad and ITC Sonar Bangla Sheraton as resident manager.

Poonam Khattar has been appointed secretary to the regional manager - South Asia. Prior to the appointment, Khattar was working with Sri Lankan Airlines as a secretary.

World Travel & Tourism Council

Richard Miller has been promoted to executive vice-president. The promotion is in recognition of the outstanding contribution that Richard has made to the Council over the past thirteen years and follows the highly successful launch of the WTTC China Report.
