Jet Airways Ties Up With Hyatt Worldwide

Hyatt International Corporation recently announced that Jet Airways has selected Hyatt Hotels and Resorts as its first global hotel partner. The alliance between Jet Airways and Hyatt Hotels and Resorts is the first global alliance for Jet Privilege, in recognition of the global aspirations and needs of its discerning members in the area of travel, stay, and lifestyle related services.

Speaking on launch of this global alliance, Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, CEO, Jet Airways said, "No other frequent flyer programme in India today awards miles for partner activities at a global level and the Jet-Hyatt partnership, besides the one with KLM/North West and British Airways, is a step in that direction. Such alliances, at a global level, have added an altogether new dimension to the frequent flyer programme, making it yet another first from Jet Privilege, which has constantly endeavoured to provide benefits and services most sought after by today's frequent flyers.

Grahame Carder, vice-president - marketing for Asia Pacific, Hyatt International Hotels, said, "It represents an excellent opportunity for Hyatt to serve the needs of the emerging outbound market from India, and introduce to frequent travellers in India the many outstanding Hyatt properties around the world."

Members of the Jet Privilege programme can now earn 500 JPMiles at any of the more than 200 participating Hyatt properties in India, and abroad. On top of the 500 JPMiles, members can enjoy extra benefits when staying at all Hyatt Hotels in India and Nepal throughout 2004.
