Cathay Hosts Annual Cricket Sixes Tournament For Western India TAs

Cathay Pacific Airways recently organised its annual Cricket Sixes Tournament for Western India Travel Agents, at the Islam Gymkhana, Marine Drive. This year's event saw participation from over 16 travel agencies in Western India. The teams of Thomas Cook, travelmartindia.com, Space Travels, Colombus Travels, Blue Star Air Travel, Sachinam Travels, Fourway Travels and the Gujarat Agents (combine) made it to the quarterfinals. The participating teams competed against each other in five overs per match through the quarterfinals and semifinals with the two teams of Space Travels and Sachinam Travels emerging to the finals. However, Space Travels finally won the trophy.

Tom Owen Country Manager, Cathay Pacific presented the winners with their awards at the conclusion of the tournament. The awards for the best bowler, best batsman and the player of the tournament, were won by Ravi Sumra of Sachinam Travels, Tushar Jhaveri of Sachinam Travels and A Gadkari of Space Travels respectively.
