Manoj Chacko has been appointed as sales manager, western India. Responsible for overseeing the commercial operations of the airline, Chacko responsibilities include the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa. Prior to his appointment, Chacko was working in Emirates' as sales manager, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka and has also worked for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines overseeing the GSA operations for South India.

Kuoni Travel Group, India

Mahesh Shirodkar has been appointed chief operating officer for the outbound division - SOTC. Prior to the appointment, Shirodkar was working as senior vice-president, Tour Club.

Raman Mohan has been appointed to the newly created position of general manager - projects. He will assist the deputy CEO and head - business development in implementing new projects at Kuoni India. Prior to the appointment, Mohan was working for Air Sahara, where he served as general manager - marketing.

Juerg Christen has been appointed general manager - India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan.

Futura Travels Limited

Jason Samuel has been appointed head - operations. The company is part of the Essar Group. Prior to the appointment, Samuel was working as the general manager, Forvol International Services Limited, part of the Forbes group looking after the all India operations.

Grand Hyatt, Mumbai

Sarosh Khatib has been appointed director of marketing. He has over 15 years expertise in the hospitality industry and was director of commercial sales for the Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai prior to this appointment.

Harbour View Residency Hotel, Kochi

Mathew Jose has been appointed general manager. Prior to the appointment, Jose was working with Hilton International and Nikko represented Hotels in the Middle-East and Abad Group of Hotel in India. He has 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
