The Evaluation Criteria
The award for the 'Best International Airline West-Bound from India' was evaluated on the following criteria:
  • Gross revenue from operations. (These receipts pertained to only the respective airlines and from passenger and freight operations in India and did not include receipts from other ancillary businesses. It was for the period April 1, 2002 to March 31, 2003)
  • The maximum number of flights into India per week on any week between April 1, 2002 and March 31, 2003.
  • Number of destinations serviced in India through operations as on March 31, 2003.
  • The ratios and an annexure of details supporting the calculation of:
    • i) Load factor
    • ii) Net Profit/(loss) from operations in India last fiscal before any appropriations.
  • Total number of employees in service in India as on March 31, 2003
