New Sales Office For SriLankan Airlines

Sri Lankan Airlines have announced the opening of its new sales office at Churchgate, one of the city’s busiest commercial districts. The newly opened sales offices was inaugurated by Mohammed Fazeel, regional manager, South Asia - SriLankan Airlines.

Mumbai is an important city for SriLankan Airlines as it is one of the fastest growing and most profitable markets currently offering four flights a week. The airline also has plans to increase their outbound traveller traffic by 25 per cent by November 2003. SriLankan Airlines flies to 32 destinations in 22 countries across Europe, Middle East, Far East, Indian subcontinent and the Maldives. The Airline has received several prestigious awards recently including Skytrax - Best Airlines in Central Asia for three consecutive years (2000, 2001 and 2002). TTG Asia - Best Airlines in South Asia 2002 and Skytrax World’s Friendless Cabin Crew - 2002 among others. The Airlines has a modern fleet of aircraft comprising A 320, A340 nd A330.
