In an effort to tap the growing NRI
market, ITTR travel services have decided to tap this potent
market. Explains Vernon D'Cruz, CEO, "After having surveyed
the markets we cater to like South Africa, Australia, Kenya
and a lot more, we realised the needs of Indians wanting to
explore their roots and the culture of their origin. We are
still in the process of conceptualising these packages. However,
the main aim of these packages would be to take the people
back to their countries of origin. This would work especially
in India since we have a lot of migrants settled abroad."
"We are also in the process
of an expansion not only with regards to our operations but
also our services. We specialise in being generalist as we
feel that as a tour operator, you cannot focus on just one
market. It curtails your business focus and approach to the
customers needs. So, along with the domestic, we plan
to balance our outbound and inbound services," added
D'Cruz.
