UA Offers 20 Code-Share Flights To And From India

Star Alliance partners, United Airlines and Lufthansa German Airlines have entered into a code-share agreement on Lufthansa’s daily Frankfurt-Delhi-Frankfurt services. This is in addition to the existing code-share arrangement the two airlines have, on Lufthansa operated daily flights to and from Mumbai as also the three-times-a-week flights each to and from Chennai and Bangalore.

With the code share agreement in place from the four major gateways of New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore, United Airlines now offers its clients 20 weekly flights that are operated by its partner Lufthansa between Frankfurt and the four Indian cities, under UA flight numbers. These code-share flights offer convenient onward connections to almost all the major destinations in the United States. Customers will also have the flexibility of earning and redeeming frequent flyer miles on these flights as per the Mileage Plus programmes rules with regards to code-share routes.
