Amadeus Presents Time Management Seminars...

Amadeus India recently brought the training module of ‘time management’ to the doorstep of travel agencies in Delhi and Mumbai respectively. This endeavour of Amadeus India was in association with Shradha HRD Pvt Ltd.

Speaking on the occasion, Karun Budhraja, senior manager marketing and communications, Amadeus, says, “In our industry we often ignore the value of time resulting is unprofessional service leading to displeasure amongst the client. The travel consultant most often forgets that time is one very major deciding factor in customer loyalty. We have tried to address this issue in order to provide seamless service to the end customer. This is also an excellent opportunity for us to give value added service to our top customers.”

Says Amul S Bahl, director, Shradha HRD, “We at Shradha, look for challenging assignments such as these, to provide the participants the three broad areas of Vision, Will and Skill to maximize on time management among other core management fields. The essence of time management is mind management, both of which are necessary to give the customer a delight from services.”


... Receives Award For Development Of New Markets

Amadeus India was recently given a special award in recognition of development of new markets. The award was presented to Ankur Bhatia, managing director, Amadeus, Indian Subcontinent by Arun Shourie, minister for Communications and Information Technology, Government of India. This award was presented on behalf of the Electronics and Software Export Promotion Council for the year 2000-2001 and 2001-2002 for Amadeus’ foray into new markets such as Latin America and the Gulf.

Speaking on the occasion, Bhatia said, “For us at Amadeus India this award recognises our efforts in ensuring that the travel industry in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh have available to them the best in travel technology.”
